The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has called upon certified facemask manufacturers, importers and distributors to ensure consistency of quality for their products. “Once you know the certification requirements, and have been certified by UNBS, be consistent with the quality of your products. DAILY MONITOR: The Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) has blamed the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) for not doing enough to check the substandard facemasks on the market, which have been distributed by government in the Covid-19 prevention drive.
